Marblism Timezone Settings: Fix Tasks Running at the Wrong Time

Before you automate a Monday follow-up or an after-hours summary, make sure Marblism agrees with your clock.

Short answer: Open My Account → Edit Profile → Timezone, select the timezone that matches your location, then schedule one harmless test task. This catches a bad clock before a customer message or staff workflow runs at the wrong hour.

Marblism says it detects your timezone from your browser when you sign up. That is convenient, but the official guide also warns that an incorrect setting can make actions run at unexpected hours.

For a service-business owner, timing is part of the instruction. A useful follow-up sent at the wrong hour can feel careless. A daily summary that arrives after everyone leaves does not help tomorrow’s dispatch board. Check the clock before judging the employee.

What the timezone controls

According to Marblism’s official timezone guide, the setting affects AI employee actions including messages, scheduling, and tasks. Its task guide separately explains that a task has a date, time, and optional recurrence.

Why this matters: “Every Monday at 8:00 AM” is only useful when the account’s 8:00 AM matches yours.

Fix Marblism timezone settings step by step

  1. Open My Account. Marblism places it in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard.
  2. Select Edit Profile. Scroll until you see Timezone.
  3. Choose the timezone matching your current location. Use the location shown in Marblism rather than guessing from an abbreviation.
  4. Review your existing scheduled tasks. Check the displayed date, time, and recurrence for anything customer-facing or time-sensitive.
  5. Create one harmless test. Schedule it 5–10 minutes ahead, wait for it to run, and compare the actual time with the intended time.
Simple test task:

“Eva, please create a one-time task for today at [time]. Send me a chat message that says: Timezone test complete. This is only to confirm my scheduling.”

Use the complete task formula after the clock passes

Marblism’s official task guide recommends including the employee, recurrence, exact time, specific action, details, and goal. That context gives the employee both the job and the reason.

Service-business example:

“Eva, please create a task for yourself. Every weekday at 4:30 PM, prepare a list of customer messages that still need a reply, including the customer name and next action. This is for clearing the office queue before tomorrow.”

Use chat for a one-time action you need today; Marblism says recurring work is the stronger use for Tasks. See the full operator guide to training Marblism employees for the difference between chat, Tasks, Brain, and Guidelines.

Honest limitation: Marblism’s current timezone article does not explain whether changing the setting recalculates every task you created earlier. After any timezone change, review existing tasks and test one before relying on customer-facing automation.
