Marblism Eva Email Organization: Move or Copy?

Choose how Eva files email before a busy inbox becomes the test environment. This free planner turns Marblism's two settings into one controlled, reversible check.

Inbox automation can save time only when the owner still knows where to look. For a service business, one hidden estimate request or parts question can cost more than the tool saves. That is why the first decision is not “How much can Eva organize?” It is “Where should one test email appear, and should the original stay visible?”

This guide handles that small decision. It does not replace your Eva inbox operating rules or the separate Eva Guidelines challenge for deciding when Eva should draft or skip a reply.

What Marblism officially supports

Marblism's current help article says Eva offers two email-organization choices. Categories can label messages by category, while Folders can place messages into folders. A separate Move or Copy choice controls whether an email leaves the inbox or stays there while a copy is filed.

You choose these settings when connecting an inbox, and Marblism says you can change them later in Eva's Inbox settings.

Set up Marblism Eva email organization step by step

1. Choose one low-risk inbox. Do not start with every business and personal inbox at once. Pick the mailbox whose owner can watch the first result.
2. Define the expected result. Decide whether the test message should use a category or folder and whether it must remain visible in the inbox.
3. Build the test plan. Use the tool above and keep the two selected setting names visible while you work.
4. Open Eva's Inbox settings. Marblism says the choices appear during inbox connection and can be changed later in Eva's Inbox settings. Set Categories or Folders, then Move or Copy.
5. Use one harmless new email. Send a message from an account you control with a subject such as “Eva organization test — July 31.” Include no customer, payment or private information.
6. Check both outcomes. Confirm the message received the expected category or folder placement. Then confirm whether the original stayed in the inbox under Copy or left it under Move.
7. Stop if either result is wrong. Return to Eva's Inbox settings, choose Copy for the next test if you need the original to remain visible, and repeat with another harmless message.
8. Expand only after one clean result. Keep the first week narrow. For a separate three-category operating system, use the Eva email-label challenge.

Why this small test matters

• It separates “how the message is labeled or filed” from “whether it remains in the inbox.”
• It gives the owner a written expected result before Eva touches a useful workflow.
• It exposes a bad assumption with one controlled email instead of a live estimate request.
