Marblism Meeting Notetaker: Test Eva in 15 Minutes

Prove the calendar connection, waiting-room step, summary recipients and notes with a harmless meeting before a customer is involved.

By Jeff Niegsch · Service-business owner · Published July 22, 2026
Short answer: Connect the correct calendar in Eva, turn on the Notetaker, limit the first summary to yourself, then host a short meeting that contains one decision, one owner and one due date. Admit Eva if the meeting has a waiting room, and compare the summary with your test script.

Meeting notes can save time only when you know which calendar triggers the notetaker, who receives the summary and whether the important details survive the handoff. Finding those answers during a real estimate review, employee meeting or customer call is too late.

This Marblism meeting notetaker test uses harmless information so a service-business owner can learn the workflow without exposing customer details or accidentally emailing a rough summary to everyone.

What Marblism officially supports

Marblism's current guide says, Eva's Notetaker joins meetings straight from your connected calendar — there's no separate meeting app to connect. The documented setup path is Eva → Settings → Calendar, followed by Eva → Settings → Notetaker.

Advanced Options let you change the name Eva uses in meetings, limit her to meetings you host, email the summary to participants and send a copy to yourself. Marblism's troubleshooting guide also says that a waiting room may require you to admit Eva like any other guest.

Test Eva's meeting notetaker step by step

  1. Connect and select the correct calendar. Open Eva → Settings → Calendar. Confirm that the intended Google or Outlook calendar shows as authorized and selected.
  2. Turn on the Notetaker. Open the Notetaker tab and enable Take notes during my meetings.
  3. Limit the first run. Open Advanced Options. Turn on host-only joining and your own summary copy; leave participant summaries off for this controlled test.
  4. Create one short online meeting. Put it on the selected calendar with a working join link. Invite only yourself or a coworker who knows this is an AI-notetaker test.
  5. Read three test facts aloud. State one decision, one responsible person and one due date. Use made-up operational details, not customer names, account information or confidential employee matters.
  6. Admit Eva if prompted. Check the waiting room and attendee list. Do not assume a calendar connection guarantees automatic admission.
  7. Compare the summary with your script. Verify the decision, owner and due date word for word before sharing or relying on the notes.
Use this 30-second test script:

“Test decision: the sample filter check moves to Tuesday. Test owner: Jordan. Test due date: July 30, 2026. These are fictional details for testing the meeting summary.”

Replace the names and date if you want, but keep exactly one decision, one owner and one deadline so the result is easy to score.

If Eva does not join

  1. Confirm Take notes during my meetings is still on.
  2. If host-only joining is enabled, confirm you created and host the calendar meeting.
  3. Look for Eva in the meeting waiting room and admit her.
  4. Turn the Notetaker off, wait a few seconds and turn it back on.
  5. If the controlled test still fails, stop there and contact Marblism support.

Why this order matters: it checks the documented setup and meeting controls before you repeatedly rebuild the event or change unrelated account settings.

Honest limitation: a successful test proves that this calendar event worked; it does not prove every future meeting will be joined or summarized perfectly. Treat AI-generated notes as a draft. Review names, decisions, dates and promises before sending the summary or turning participant delivery on.
The Marblism Challenge

Run one controlled 15-minute meeting test

Action: Connect and select one calendar, limit the summary to yourself, then host a short meeting using the decision-owner-deadline script.

Win conditions: Eva appears in the meeting, the summary goes only to the recipient you chose, and the decision, owner and due date match your test script.

Score: 0 / 3 — Start with the calendar connection.

Score 3/3, then try the next Marblism Challenge: build the 15-minute Eva email-label system so meeting follow-ups and inbox work stay organized.

Move from test to real meetings carefully

For the rest of Eva's setup, use the Eva executive-assistant guide. If the meeting creates follow-up tasks, run the 15-minute usage audit later to connect the time used with the output you actually received.
